# Toggle to show or hide all content warning posts in thread

In earlier versions, there was an eyeball icon at the top which toggled all CWed content, like this

In 5.0, all I see is the per-post “show post” buttons, which must be clicked to show each individual post

I agree! CW’d threads are how a lot of people keep spoilers or sensitive topics out of the general mish-mash, but now that we’ve opened the thread-- let us read the thread! I don’t need to be punished with extra actions (I have RSI, it does feel like punishment) just to see a polite user’s take on politics (or whatever).

This functionality will come back, but we don’t have new designs for this yet. (The old design caused a lot of confusion as people expected the button to also expand truncated long posts, which it didn’t. And it was always shown even when it didn’t do anything.)

This is definitely needed! Good to know it’s under consideration.

If the old design wasn’t good, maybe an alternative could be: When you unhide a post with a particular CW text, every other post in the thread with the same CW text is also unhidden. Most of the time when I see a thread full of CWs, almost every post has just copied the CW from the post it’s a reply to.
